The Price Is Right Tickets Information

The first version of the Price is Right was shown way back in 1956. Bill Cullen played the duties of the host and four participants were selected to bid for one expensive item. The bidders used to start off guessing the price of the product and the one with the bid closest to the actual price, without going over it, was declared the winner. That run ended in 1965. The program got a facelift and made its much awaited return on TV in 1972. Bob Barker played its host till Drew Carey took his place in 2007. It started off with a thirty minute duration but owing to the immense interest it generated that was expanded to one hour.
The debut episode of the new version of Price is Right was a hit right from the word go. The show begins with the host calling down four members from the live audience to take part in the One Bid round. One product is shown to the participants and they get to bid for it once. The bidder whose bid is closest to the real price of the good, and is not more than the real price moves to the next round.  In case all contestants go over the real price the game is restarted and the bidders are asked to bid again at a price below the lowest bid of the previous round. If a participant manages to guess the exact price he or she gets a bonus gift. That process is repeated till four or fix members from the audience qualify for the main round.
A winner of One Bid then goes onto play a pricing game. Another participant then tackles the Contestants Row. The process is repeated after every stage. At the end of every episode the three participants from the last round play The Big Wheel to see who makes it to the big Showcase. The twenty different part of the wheel have values ranging from five cents to one dollar. The top two contestant that manage to reach closest to one dollar through their spins play for the Showcase. A showcase full of prizes is brought for the bigger winner of the previous round to bid. He can either bid or pass it to the other contestant and then a second showcase is brought for the first bidder to make a bid on. Whoever bids closes to the price without going over the real price is declared the winner.
The Price is Right and its popularity paved the way for the management to stage a live version of the program as well. It is held at venues like Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, the Foxwoods Resort & Casino and Harrah’s Entertainment Casinos. The selection of the contestants is a little different from the TV version. The audience can be asked some price related questions and they need to reply with special keypads in their hands with the one with the fastest and correct reply going on to play. In some cases the contestants are chosen through a game played before the show.  A random draw is also held in some cases to pick the participants. New audience members are selected for the One-Bid. The Showcase Showdown to determine the two contestants to play for the Showcase spin the wheel which is a scalded down version of the one used on the TV show. The top two then bid for a single showcase in writing. For a participant to win the entire showcase he or she has the margin of guessing within one hundred dollars of the real price.
Both versions of Price is Right have received a lot of praise and acclaim from every corner. They have been watched by millions over the years and interest in the spectacle simply keeps on growing. Grab Price is Right tickets and test your luck as well who knows what you might end up winning!
