Initially it emerged out of the workings of cattle or sheep herding in Spain, Mexico, the United States, Canada, South America and Australia. However, today Rodeo is a large scale sports and entertainment event sought by large number of crowds including families. The various events that take place include horse, cattle or other live stock shows. Then there are Saddle bronc riding, Bull riding, steer wrestling, Barrel racing, Bareback bronc riding etc. These showcase the skill and speed of the participating cowboys and cowgirls.
