The metal grating around the proscenium -- gone, replaced by vast quantities of visually pleasant tulipwood, the same type of wood that now trims out the box office area. Wood will wrap around the proscenium frame, to fill the gap between stage and proscenium and give the hall a continuous "throat" from stage to house. The grating allows sound to disappear into the dark, unpopulated regions above the stage; the wood will reflect it into the house.
