History
The BIC established in late 70s as a multipurpose Conference, Entertainment, Leisure and Exhibition Venue. Launched in 1984, the Centre boasted two halls, a leisure pool, gymnasium area and a multi-storey car park for over 700 cars, offering a larger, contemporary option to the already existing entertainment Auditoriums Winter Gardens Concert Hall (now demolished), Pavilion and Pier Theatres. The Windsor Hall

The flexibility of the allows to accommodate for almost any event - large rock or pop concerts, major political party conventions, trade/public exhibitions, banquets, and sporting events ranging from Darts to Dance Championships, and Harlem Globetrotters Basketball to Ice Skating.
The seating arrangement is a combination of flat-floor and tiered balcony level that can easily adjusted on a fully motorized, retractable unit, the hall can be configured to specific capacities and client requirements, including the portable 'Roll and Set' SICO stage for all types of presentations.
The Tregonwell Hall

Fully carpeted and sound-proof with acoustic screening, An excellent choice for conferences; three separate floor areas and balcony to put up a total of 1100 or can be easily adapted to suit groups of 300, giving a much more intimate event experience.
Tiered, retractable seating is available on the balcony and for easy loading and unloading of equipment, direct vehicle access is provided .Direct links with the Windsor, Solent and Purbeck Halls provide further flexibility, allowing for example a conference, an exhibition and catering facilities in adjacent rooms.
The Purbeck Hall
The purbeck hall is a very special auditorium for exclusive event with spell binding sea front view and richly designed interiors. It high doomed roof and arched windows with area covered in circular fashion adds a lot of class to the ambiance giving it a unique classic feel. The granwood floor perfectly complements the traditional look of place. The unique combination of tasteful architecture and natural panorama makes it apt for top notch grand events including exhibitions, fashion shows, Gala, banquets and receptions. The place has its own integral bar to offer refreshments to the guests.
This hall like the other halls has easy access to rest of the halls via West Cliff side seafront entrance to the lounge bars, foyer and reception area. The Solent Hall
The Solent Hall is proudest new addition to the BIC’s chain of entertainment Destination. The place is a custom design arrangement with direct exterior access residing over Bournemouth Bay. Solent offers extreme flexibility to organize staged shows, presentations as well as conference and banquets. This spot adjoins two separate bar/cafe areas at ground and first floor levels.
IT has a natural light and mix of retractable tiered and loose seating, granwood floor, air conditioning and a high specification sound and lighting grid offering an ideal, flexible solution to your event needs.
