1998 saw a new punk band surfacing and this was a band which is now known as Black Cat Music. It was formed in 1998 in San Francisco Bay Area, California. Some band members of the former bands, ‘The Criminals’ and ‘The Receivers’, came together and decided to become band mates of this new band Black Cat Music. The element that makes Black Cat Music a distinct rock band is that it infuses rock n roll with pure punk. And to top it is the lyrical style of the band which is dark and poetic. The kind of music which Black Cat has taken up to produce is admirable. Black Cat tickets are a treat for people who want to have a nice time at a live rock concert. The fact that the band is excellent when it comes to live performances just adds to the fun.
The current lineup of Black Cat Music comprise of Brady Baltezore on the vocals, Travis Dutton in guitars, Omar Perez on bass and Denny Martin on drums. Dan McComas and Jon Carling are the two former members of Black Cat Music. These band mates also make up a good team to perform live and make the live concerts of the band a fun experience. After Black Cat Music was formed, it started its journey with the release of an EP titled, This is the New Romance. The EP was released by Cheetah’s and also the first record was released under the same label. The full length record was released in 1999 with the title, The Only Thing We’ll Ever Be is All Alone. Later, the band signed to a new record label, Lookout! and started recording music under it. Under this new label, Black Cat Music released three albums, the first one in 1999 titled One Foot in the Grave which was an EP. The next album came out in 2001 and was titled Hands in Estuary, Torso in the Lake and another album was released in 2004, titled, October, November. All the albums of Black Cat Music did a good business and every year paves way towards a more successful career for the band.
