“I was so happy with my Ron White Tickets, that I bought Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Concert seats the very next day. Quickest turn around on all my emails and did I mention best prices I could find on the net. Art even arranged for a discount coupon for me and saved me more than $70.

"I am visiting USA and wanted to see Rolling Stones in Chicago. Ticket Nest gave me the absolute best prices I could find anywhere on internet. There was an issue for shipping to Germany. Sam at Ticket Nest even spoke German, called back to Germany and didn’t give up until the issue was resolved. I just did not expect this level of service. You know where I will be buying tickets on my US tour"

Houston Astros Tickets Information

Houston Astros
The Houston Astros are a Major League Baseball team based in Houston, Texas. The team play in the Central Division of the National League.

Franchise history
Beginnings: The 1960s:
An abortive attempt was made to start a third major league when the Giants and Dodgers left for California. The third league was to be called the Continental League. But the league could not exist in practice.

It nonetheless established the demand for major league baseball in other markets. On April 9, 1965, the Houston Colt .45s became the Houston Astros and inaugurated indoor baseball in the Astrodome.

1970s:
The year 1975 was the tragic year for the team as the former Astros pitcher Don Wilson suicided this year. He had pitched two no-hitters for the club. Wilson's jersey, number 40, was also retired by the Astros. In 1975, the orange, yellow and navy "Rainbow Guts" uniforms were adopted by Astros. These uniforms became a team trademark and would stay with them in some form through 1993.

1979-85: The Start of Something Big; Taste of October:
In 1979, the Astros would be successful in joining their first real pennant race after three seasons hovering around .500. The 1979 Astros were a team built around pitching and speed.

1986:
A mediocre 1985 season led to the firing of general manager Al Rosen and manager Bob Lillis by the Astros. Al Rosen was superseded by Dick Wagner, the man whose Reds defeated the Astros to win the 1979 NL West. Bob Lillis was replaced by Hal Lanier whose "box-office baseball" took Houston by storm. Lanier infused a new blood in the team. Houston were successful in winning 13 of their first 19 contests.

1987-93: Destroy, Fire Sale, and Rebuild
Following the 1988 season, significant change was experienced by the Astros. Manager Hal Lanier was failed to build on the Astros' success in 1986. He was dismissed following the season, and the team went on a fire sale. Additionally, after being considered "too old" by then-owner John McMullen, franchise icon Nolan Ryan left the Astros to join the Texas Rangers in 1989. In the early 1990s, Ryan would go on to pitch two more no-hitters for the Rangers to achieve a grand total of seven. These were more than anyone else in major league history. Ryan has the honor of recording his 5,000th strikeout and 300th win with the Rangers, and entered the Hall of Fame as a Ranger.

1994-99: A New Owner, A New Look, A New Success:
The Astros began to show signs of consistent success shortly after McLane's arrival and with the maturation of Bagwell and Biggio. They finished second in their division in 1994 (in a strike year), 1995, and 1996. The Astros were successful in winning consecutive division titles in 1997, 1998, and 1999.

The Astros set a team record with 102 victories in the 1998 season,. However, the team had to face a first-round playoff elimination in each of these titles. Larry Dierker was the manager of these title teams.

2000s: New Stadium; First Pennant:
The Astors spend many years at the outdated Astrodome. Finally, they moved into their new stadium in 2000. The stadium was one of the first to feature a functional retractable roof, considered a necessity in Houston. The stadium was originally called Enron Field.

2005: Houston, we have a pennant:
The start of 2005 Season was very poor. They dropped to 15 games below .500 (15-30) in late May before becoming nearly unbeatable. From that low point until the end of July, Houston went 42-17 and found themselves in the lead for the NL Wild Card.

2006:
On December 8, the Astros were on the verge of acquiring right hander Jon Garland from the Chicago White Sox in return for Willy Taveras, Taylor Buchholz, and Jason Hirsh but the deal was nixed by the White Sox .On December 12, the Astros were successful in trading 3 for 2 when they traded Willy Taveras, Taylor Buchholz, and Jason Hirsh to the Colorado Rockies for Rockies pitchers Jason Jennings and Miguel Asencio.

2007:
The Astros signed veteran outfielder Richard Hidalgo to a Minor League Contract on January 12. Hidalgo spent his first 8 seasons with the Astros. He was released on March 24 after a subpar Spring Training.P
