“I was so happy with my Ron White Tickets, that I bought Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Concert seats the very next day. Quickest turn around on all my emails and did I mention best prices I could find on the net. Art even arranged for a discount coupon for me and saved me more than $70.

"I am visiting USA and wanted to see Rolling Stones in Chicago. Ticket Nest gave me the absolute best prices I could find anywhere on internet. There was an issue for shipping to Germany. Sam at Ticket Nest even spoke German, called back to Germany and didn’t give up until the issue was resolved. I just did not expect this level of service. You know where I will be buying tickets on my US tour"

Fbr Phoenix Open Tickets Information

Fbr Phoenix Open
The FBR Open - a nationwide televised golf tournament is a part of the PGA Tour and is held at the Tournament Players Club (TPC) of Scottsdale, Arizona somewhere around the last weekend in January. Originally titled as the Arizona Open, before becoming the title sponsor Friedman Billings Ramsey Open in October 2003, it was known as the Phoenix Open for most of its history until the investment bank.

This is the best annual golf tournament, and in 2006 the FBR Open set a PGA Tour single day attendance record with over 168,000 fans in attendance on Saturday, Feb. 4, as well as a tournament week attendance record of 536,367 fans.

History
The Phoenix Open instigated in 1932 but unfortunately, was suspended after the 1935 tournament. The Phoenix Open was revived in 1939 when the devoted golfer, Bob Goldwater, Sr. influenced his fellow Thunderbirds - a well-known civic organization in Phoenix - into continuing the event. Though the Thunderbirds were not wholeheartedly passionate about continuing the event as Goldwater, who, infact had major contributions in getting the golf tournament taking place once again. Just like the old times, the event took place at Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona. Beginning in 1955, The Arizona Country Club (also in Phoenix) alternated as event host with Phoenix Country Club; this arrangement lasted until Phoenix Country Club took The Arizona Country Club's turn in 1975 and became the event's permanent home again.

In 1987, the tournament place was again shifted to the TPC of Scottsdale's Stadium Course, which is now its existing home.

The tournament generally receives around 500,000 people. The 16th hole due to the "Amphitheatre" atmosphere of the hole is the most well-liked hole among the spectators to watch. It is created by the stands erected every year before the tournament. The hole could be described as "one big party", with many students from the nearby Arizona State University. Poor shots at the 16th hole receive derision, because according to the PGA's standards, the hole is very easy to pot. Good shots, however, are praised for loudly. Memorable moments at the 16th embrace Tiger Woods' hole-in-one in 1997, which gave him a great commendation and acclaim. The spectators, in excitement, were throwing caps and other objects in merriment. Another unforgettable moment includes, Justin Leonards finger showing to the gallery after a poor shot. The most popular golfer at FBR is incontestably an Arizona State alum, Phil Mickelson. Besides golf, a concert/party takes place in the Scottsdale area called the Birds Nest, in which music artists like Huey Lewis and the News play.

Undoubtedly, FBR Open is the occasion to see the best golfers in this countrywide televised event, giving the City of Scottsdale more name acknowledgment and respect across the U.S. The Thunderbirds still a highly active participant in organizing the FBR Open. Portions of the income are used by the Thunderbirds to fund Special Olympics activities in Phoenix.

Attracting one of the largest spectators annually on the PGA TOUR, the FBR Open has successfully attained the celebrated position on TOUR for being distinct from any other golf tournament, involving the amazing golf played by the legendary golfers like Aaron Baddeley, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh on the stunning TPC Scottsdale. A fine group of Valley business men namely the Thunderbirds the Hosts of the Open since 1939, has turned this "golf tournament" into an incredible community event which is infact, frequently regarded to as "The Greatest Show on Grass" -- and so far have raised approximately $46 million for Arizona charities.

The 2008 edition will historically mark the 73rd playing of the Open, and the fifth as the FBR Open, consequently turning it into one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR. If planning to attend this magnificent event, there are a few things one should keep in mind; Firstly, parking is never a problem. A number of large parking areas are situated close by and attendees, may even prefer to walk to the event or if required, may avail the shuttle service which stops right in front of the main entrance.

Secondly, tickets are available without troubling one. Due to the design of the FBR Open course and grounds, an unlimited number of people can witness great golf action. Thus, tickets are never sold out. Finally, theres the TPC Scottsdaleitself, one of the most excellent venues on the PGA TOUR for players and fans equally, the reason why it is also regarded as the Stadium Course. Theres room galore to observe the key shots on all of the critical holes. The final four holes are the vital and decisive ones.

In the history of this tournament, so far, the lowest 4-day score (72 holes) for the tournament was made by Mark Calcavecchia in 2001 with a total score of 256, which was an incredible 28 under par. In the second round he scored a 60, which was the lowest score in the history of the Phoenix Open tied with Grant Waite in 1996. Calcavecchia had 32 birdies in the tournament, which was also an all-time record.

There have been only two double eagles in the history of the FBR-Phoenix Open. Tom Pernice Jr. made the first one on the 558-yard par-5 15th hole in 1990. Andrew Magee scored the second on the 332-yard par-4 17th hole in 2001. Magee's shot is considered to be the first-ever Hole-In-One on a par-4 in PGA Tour history.

Mark Calcavecchia (1989, 1992 and 2001) has had most wins of three records in par with Gene Littler (1955, 1959, and 1969) and Arnold Palmer (1961, 1962, and 1963).
