Held Annually at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California; Auto Club 500 features stock cars in 500 miles long NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Other than Auto Club 500, Pepsi 500 is the other race that is also hosted at California Speedway.
Since its inauguration till 2005, the race was annually held in the May of every year, but since 2005 the race moved to the February of every year. This was after the NASCAR realignment for that year was made.
