“I was so happy with my Ron White Tickets, that I bought Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Concert seats the very next day. Quickest turn around on all my emails and did I mention best prices I could find on the net. Art even arranged for a discount coupon for me and saved me more than $70.

"I am visiting USA and wanted to see Rolling Stones in Chicago. Ticket Nest gave me the absolute best prices I could find anywhere on internet. There was an issue for shipping to Germany. Sam at Ticket Nest even spoke German, called back to Germany and didn’t give up until the issue was resolved. I just did not expect this level of service. Widespread Panic Tickets Information

Widespread Panic
Widespread Panic is a well known southern rock band. The band belongs to Athens, Georgia. The guitarist and vocalist is John Bell, the bassist is Dave Schools, the drummer is Todd Nance, their percussionist is Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz, the keyboardist John "JoJo" Hermann, and they have an additional guitarist, Jimmy Herring.

Widespread Panic has performed an average of 250 shows a year. They have stood among the top 50, and they have achieved this without enough radio airplay, television exposure, or promotion.

The Widespread Panic have performed at shows where they hold record sellout. They have had:
23 sell out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver.
17 shows at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre near Birmingham, Ala.
17 Philips Arena in Atlanta.
18 UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.
Widespread Panic signed a contract with Capricorn Records with whom they launched their major label debut called, Widespread Panic (1991). The following year, John Hermann ("JoJo") joined the band as a keyboardist.

Ata free CD release party, Widespread Panic launched their first live album, Light Fuse, Get Away. An unprecedented 80,000-100,000 fans turned up atAthens, Georgia for this special event. This is what made it the largest CD release party history has seen.

Widespread Panic's popularity rocketed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band attracted large audiences in the Southeastern United States. In 2001, they were noted for being one of the main bands to draw the largest crowds at concerts.

Widespread Panic was handed gold certification because of their concert DVD Live at Oak Mountain. This was reinforced by two night performances of the first annual Bonnaroo Music Festival. This attracted more than 70,000 people. Tragedy struck Widespread Panic when Michael Houser [guitarist] was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2002. He carried on playing in the band through the summer [2002]. However, after performing on July 2, 2002 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Houser was forced to leave the band due to his deteriorating health.

Guitarist George McConnell replaced Houser as lead guitarist. McConnell was previously a bandmate of JoJo Hermann's in Beanland. Shortly after that Michael Houser passed away [August 10, 2002].

Widespread Panic moved on after Houser's demise in 2002. In 2003, the band launched 'Ball'. This was Widespread Panic's first studio album with McConnell as their lead guitarist. The album produced with him was unique because none of the songs on this album were ever performed live before. All songs were particularly written for this album, apart from "Time Waits," which is a song that John Bell had played before in solo performances.

Later, in the same year, Widespread Panic wanted to take a break, and officially told everyone that they would not be performing or working on any material. However, the opposite seemed to happen, when in 2004, they launched three live albums: Night of Joy, Uber Cobra, and Jackassolantern. The explanation behind this was: Night of Joy, and Uber Cobra were recorded while an August 2003 3-night run of shows was on. This was at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. Jackassolantern was a collection of cover songs that were popularly played at the band's Halloween shows.

Apart from these recordings, there was a third live album. This was Live at Myrtle Beach that was launched in early 2005. In 2006, Jimmy Herring began playing lead when the band kicked off their fall tour. This started off with three nights at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York.

The same year in December the band sold-out their 15th consecutive New Years Eve show. This was at Philips Arena in Atlanta. There is now a banner that officially announces this milestone, and it is placed in the rafters of the arena. In February 2008, Widespread Panic launched their 10th album, Free Somehow.

Widespread Panic is indeed an outstanding band. Like many other rock bands, it has seen good times and bad ones. It has seen the death of one of its main members, but has carried on doing what all members came together for. This is something that Houser would have wanted for the band too. The important thing is that the band has survived everything, and continues to make music and entertain thousands of fans. The fans certainly cherish and admire the resilience of such musicians. Indeed, the band has been through many years of writing music, and has evolved with experience. Its music has matured and become increasingly meaningful with the passage of time.
