Pierce The Veil Tickets Information

Hailing from San Diego, California, Pierce the Veil incorporates post-hardcore, experimental rock and progressive rock in their music. The band consists of four members; Vic and Mike Fuentes; Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado. Since their emergence in 2006, they have come up with three studio albums followed by ecstatic critical and commercial reception. They are; A Flair for the Dramatic, Selfish Machines and Collide with the Sky which hit the shelves in 2007, 2010 and 2012 respectively. The 2007 release was mainly inclined towards post-hardcore/experimental rock while covering a broad range of musical styles. If it had high-on-energy songs it was balanced with some mellow numbers giving a pleasant combination. The album features the utterly famous song “I’d Rather Die than Be Famous” along with other hit numbers such as “Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides”, “Currents Convulsive”, “Drella”, “Diamonds and Why Men Buy Them”, “The Cheap Bouquet”, “Wonderless” etc.
The next release, Selfish Machines was another feather in the cap as it ranked at number one on US Top Heatseekers, nine on US Top Hard Rock Albums, sixteen on US Independent Albums, while grabbing the seventeenth spot on Top Modern Rock/Alternative Albums. Even if you are not a hardcore rock fan you would still love the album as it has something for everyone; from fast-paced songs to soulful ballads, Selfish Machines has it all. Some of the standout songs include; “Caraphernelia”, “Stay Away From My Friends”, “Disasterology”, “I Don’t Care If You’re Contagious”, “Besitos” and “The Sky Under the Sea”.. Following the release the band performed nonstop making their presence known at various festivals; Bamboozle Left, South by Southwest, Vans Warped and Never Say Never Festival being among them. Not only that, the success of the album also landed them a chance to share the stage with various bands during the tours. For instance the 2010 tour called Alternative Press Tour featured the bands August Burns Red, Bring Me the Horizon, This is Hell, Emarosa, and Polar Bear Club.
Pierce the Veil’s third album Collide with the Sky engendered phenomenal success once again reaching number one on US Rock Albums, US Hard Rock Albums and US Alternative Albums while bagging the second place on US Independent Albums. Other than that it wound up forty on Canadian Albums Charts and UK Independent Albums; twenty-one on UK Rock & Metal Albums; twelve on US Billboard 200 and finally settled on number fourteen on US Digital Albums. The album raked in 4/5 stars from Alternative Press which referred to the album as “PTV’s best work to date” while highly recommending the song “Tangled in the Great Escape”. and Rocksound gave the album 7.5/10 and 7/10 stars respectively. Just like other critics, AbsolutePunk was all praise for the album saying “Pierce the Veil are seemingly still one step ahead of everyone else when it comes to concocting energetic slices of post-hardcore”. Thus, Collide with the Sky comprised the hit numbers “Tangled in the Great Escape”, “Hold on Till May”, “Props & Mayhem”, “Hell Above”, “The First Punch” etc. Known for their energizing performances, check out Pierce the Veil by simply purchasing Pierce the Veil tickets and enjoy another rocking concert.
