Montgomery Gentry Information
Montgomery Gentry is an American country music duo. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry founded the Montgomery Gentry in the 1990s.
Eddie and Troy had good experience of singing together with Eddie's younger brother, John Michael Montgomery in a band called Early Tymz before the duo's formation. Several name changes were experienced by the duo. Finally, the name of Montgomery Gentry was agreed both by Eddie and Troy.

Montgomery Gentry availed the opportunity of singing on "The Sean Hannity Show" on Jan 15, 2007.
Awards
Montgomery Gentry was very much appreciated and it earned an important place in the American country music. It became so popular that it won many prestigious awards. These awards include ACM Top New Vocal Duo/Group in 1999, CCMA SOCAN Song of the Year in 2000 , CMA Vocal Duo of the Year in 2000.
