Kravitz's version of the song originally came from the soundtrack of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and was added to 5 as a bonus track in 1999.

In 2000, Kravitz released a Greatest Hits album. It proved to be his most flourishing album, which successfully reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 8 million copies universally.
