After the release of The Allnighter, Frey released two more studio albums titled Soul Seachin’ and Strange Weather.
His last and most recent studio album came out in 1992, after that he hasn’t released new material. These four studio albums spawned several charting singles including Don’t Give Up, All Those Lies, The Allnighter, The Heat is On, You Belong to the City, Soul Searchin’, Part of Me Part of You, Love in 21st Century and Smuggler’s Blues. The Heat is On didn’t only peaked at #2 spot, it was also featured as a soundtrack of a feature film, Beverly Hill Cop. Two more of his songs, You Belong to the City and Smuggler’s Blues, were also featured on a hit television series named Miami Vice. Frey’s song Flip City was also a part of Ghostbusters II soundtrack, and his song Part of Me Part of You, was an original soundtrack of Thelma and Louise.
During the late 90s, Glenn Frey also co-founded Mission Records along with an attorney Peter Lopez. Frey was also inducted in Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
