In 1998, Dane was featured on two comedy showcase programs on Comedy Central. He made his feature film debut in a film called ?Mystery Men? (1999). Subsequently he was invited to host his own HBO Comedy Special, ?Vicious Circle,? which was the first of several projects for that network. 2006 proved to be the busiest year of Dane?s career, as he starred in six films, including Employee of the Month with Jessica Simpson, Farce of the Penguins, Mr. Brooks, Good Luck Chuck, Transformers, and Dan in Real Life. Cook issued his third comedy album, Rough Around the Edges in front of tens of thousands of his adoring fans at the main arena of Madison Square Garden in Fall 2007.
