Buzzfest is the name of two unrelated rock festivals held usually in the late summer annually in Houston and Nashville is a bi-annual show hosted by the radio station 94.5 "The Buzz,". Buzzfest has several big name artists performing on the main stage, along other signed, but lesser known bands, who perform on a second stage. Although the vast majority of the artists who perform are classified as Alternative Rock, the music varies greatly and several different genres are represented on both stages. The second of two Buzzfests scheduled for 2007 (Known as Buzzfest XX (20)), pit tickets sold out in 15 minutes when tickets went on sale. Sum 41: A Canadian punk rock band from Ajax, Ontario has the current members Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard/piano), Cone McCaslin (bass/vocals), and Steve Jocz (drums/vocals). While signing an international record deal with Island Records in 1999, the band has released five studio albums, two live CDs, two live DVDs, more than ten singles, and sold millions of copies worldwide. As of 2006, the band performed more than 600 times and has become famous for their world tours that often last for more than a year.

Fuel:
Fuel is a rock band formed by Carl Bell, Jeff Abercrombie, and Brett Scallions in 1989. They are well known for their hit songs "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Shimmer" from their albums Something Like Human and Sunburn, respectively.
