Bad Company Tickets Information

Bad Company is one of the most popular names in rock music from the 1970s. The band currently consists of Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke and Mick Ralphs. Their band manager Peter Grant was previously associated with Led Zepplin. The addition of names like these made Bad Company a super group of the classic rock era. With such talented artists coming together as one, the band was destined to be a worldwide hit. Their first album “Bad Company” released in 1974 was certified five times Platinum. Tracks such as “Ready for love” and “Rock Steady” topped the music charts worldwide and are still widely remembered as some of the golden rock anthems. The band’s drummer Simon Kirke is also one of the best musicians in the rock music scene who began his career in 1968. He is a multi-talented musician, a songwriter and a pianist.

Taking inspiration from superstars such as Jimmy Hendrix and Steve Cropper, the band moved along in the industry, defining its music as a mix of hard rock and blues. Although the band hailed from UK, the skyrocketing success of their music soon made them an international name. After having a successful concert at Newcastle, Bad Company headed to the US to enthrall audiences there as well. It was soon after the release of their first album that they toured the US successfully and their tracks were played on the radio regularly. This year the band is going to relive some of those classic and timeless moments and performances of the 1970s. This is your chance to be a part of them; all you have to do is buy their concert tickets.
Bad Company’s second album “Straight Shooter” was certified Gold and was a commercial hit as well. The longevity and continued success of the band can be attributed to the fact that they have altered their music to the changing trends of time. Moving further from the classic rock, in the 1980s the band released “Company of Strangers” and “Fame and Fortune”. The music of both these albums witnessed a more dominating sound of the keyboards which was characteristic of most of the rock music being made in that era. Again some of the tracks such as “Pretty Woman”, “That Girl” and “This Love” became blockbusters, dominating the music charts and earning a lot of airtime on radio.
Paul Rodgers and his comrade might have aged but their passion and love for music is the same. Their live performances even today receive positive reviews and their fan base is only increasing. The year 2005 saw the release of an unauthorized CD titled “Inside Bad Company 1974-1982” that reviewed the works of this legendary musical act. The same year Paul Rodgers toured across venues with the famous rock band “Queen” and a huge crowd attendance was witnessed. In 2011 the band came up with its live album titled “Live at Wembley”.
Although their last studio album came out years ago, Bad Company continues to tour and often performs live. Besides conducting solo concerts, they also share the stage with other artists and bands. Bad Company has announced a joint tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd that will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the former’s formation and the latter’s first album.
