Details of 2008 Ticket Summit and the Ticket Luck value
“There is more money wasted in advertising by under spending than by overspending. Years ago someone said that under spending in advertising is like buying a ticket halfway to Europe. You've spent your money but you never get there.”
In order to maximize the response to any show, many policies are revised considering the general out come of the audience and their approach towards certain shows and their organizers. Ticket Summit is one such annual trade show and conference for the secondary ticket industry that evaluates and restructures many of their policies. In addition to a variety of exhibitors, the event also features training sessions, speakers, and several panels. Some of the topics for these panels are Emerging markets, Public Relations, PCI DSS Compliance, and Customer Service. The event was launched in 2006 and is held at The Venetian (Las Vegas) Hotel Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2008 Ticket Summit will take place July 23 – 25.
Speakers for this year’s event include Aaron Biddar, president of ControlScan, Shane Happach, vice president of business development at GlobalCollect, and Eric Fischer, staff writer for Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal.
