Stateline is located on the eastern shores of Douglas County, Nevada, United States. It has a population of about 1,215 according to the 2000 census. Stateline is famous for its casinos. In total, there are five casinos in the state, four of which are also resorts. “Horizon Casino Resort” is known to have the largest swimming pool available and a movie theatre for the entertainment of the non-gamblers. “MonteBleu Resort” is a 15-story casino-hotel. Recently it has been renovated into a totally new look. It is equipped with spa, theatre, lounges, swimming pool and café’s. “Tahoe Summit Village” is among the very few non-casino hotels in Stateline. South Lake Tahoe authorities are running special buses that take the citizens to these casinos. Another of Stateline attractions is the Kingsbury Grade, a state highway that Lake Tahoe to the western edge of the state. Majority of the seasonal accommodations and residential are located on or near Kingsbury Grade.
Stateline climate happens to be very cold during winters and cool during summers. August is supposed to be the warmest month of the year, while December is called the coldest. Day and night temperature during summers can vary a great deal. It might get warmer in the morning and cold again during the night. Other artists coming to Stateline are, Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson, and Sammy Hagar and The Wabos . All of these concerts and programs will be arranged at Harvey’s Outdoor Arena and Montbleu, formerly known as Caesars.
