Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill is a town in North Carolina and comprised of almost 53 thousand residents. The great city is the home of the University of North Carolina, the oldest state university in the United States. It is situated in the southeast corner of Orange County, with municipal boundaries extending slightly into Durham County to the east and almost to Chatham County to the south. As is typical of college towns, Chapel Hill has historically tended to be politically liberal. The city is also famous for its music scene that the town shares with Carrboro.
