Le Rêve
Le Rêve is a French word that means "The Dream". It is name of the first production show to open in the Wynn Las Vegas casino resort.

It is set in a one million-gallon (water) capacity theatre and features diving and feats of strength with state-of-the-art special effects, where no seat is more than 40 feet (12 m) from the stage.

The cast of 85 captures the imagination with their outrageous antics and daring feats of strength and agility. Live music and elaborate special effects immerse the audience into a world of fantasy, adventure and intrigue.

The Origin
The production was created by Franco Dragone and is similar to the shows produced by Cirque du Soleil. Dragone, who was the man behind O, La Nouba, Mystere, Alegría and Quidam has not revealed the cost of the production. However, major Las Vegas shows average around $30 to $40 million to produce.

World Premier
The highly anticipated signature show from the DRAGONE Company had its world premier on May 6, 2005, and the regular show schedule started on March 29, 2005. to show Le Rêve "a small collection of imperfect dreams."

Change of Rights
Recently, Wynn Las Vegas bought the rights to the show from Dragone to make some changes, including the logo. Wynn now owns all rights to the show, with Dragone still on the label. Le Rêve was the working name of the resort before it was changed to Wynn Las Vegas.

The Stage
The stage contains numerous platforms which may be raised or lowered. There are 2,040,000 watts of lighting power in the Le Rêve Theater. The aquatic spectacular is performed in a remarkable purpose built domed theater designed by DRAGONE.

Constructed "in the round," the first of its kind in Las Vegas, the farthest seat in the 14 rows is just 40 feet from the action creating a uniquely intimate and personal theater-going experience which surrounds, involves and embraces the spectators.

Expert Manpower
Sixteen scuba divers are required for each performance, and they use 32 air tanks and 3,500 cubic feet of compressed air. A sophisticated network of divers, cameras, breathing systems and lights allows the artists to feel comfortable underwater and ensures the safety of the cast and crew.

The Performers
A very special cast of artists and characters has been discovered from around the globe and will bring this beautiful theater to life twice a night. Each member of the cast must become scuba-certified before performing in the theater.

The cast of 86 artists in Le Rêve represents 17 countries. LE RÊVE, presented exclusively at Wynn Las Vegas, offers breathtaking performances in an intimate aqua theater in-the-round.

The show features aerial acrobatics, provocative choreography and artistic athleticism.The majority of the performers come from competitive gymnastics, swimming, or circus backgrounds. Their past accomplishments include world and national competitions.
